Three foreigners throw a Chinese prostitute from their 30th floor apartment
Although this is an isolated case (as far as I know), actions like this affect the reputations of all foreigners living in China.
Xin Kuai Bao (新快报), a newspaper based in Guangzhou, is reporting three drunk foreigners (according to the building's security guard) took a prostitute to their apartment in Yuexiu District around midnight Friday. A man in the building, Mr. Wang, reported hearing loud arguments coming from the suite on the 30th floor around 3am Saturday. Mr. Wang says she was shouting, "There are three people here, how can you pay just for one!"
Her body was found on an outdoor platform near the 11th and 12th floors later on Saturday morning, after she had allegedly been thrown from the 30th floor. Police cordoned off the area, and are now investigating.

How was that picture taken?
Absolutely deplorable behaviour. I hope a fitting punishment is delivered should they find these sickening examples of humanity.

The photo was likely taken from another building (one can only assume). It was used from the original newspaper cited in the article.

cc - the picture is of the dead woman being pulled up by a rope, not of her falling down.
Cam - I agree that the association of the word "foreigner" with events like is unpleasant, but "foreign" covers a very large number of people and places - the whole world except China. Aside from our horror that anyone could do a thing like this, it might be worth looking at our own reactions and comparing them to the fear that many Chinese people in the hours following the Virginia Tech shootings when the killer was rumored to be Chinese. If the "foreigners" turn out to be Asian or African, or even Chinese-American, will Europeans breathe a sigh of relief? And if they are European, will Asians and Africans do the same? Probably.
Hang them. It doesn't matter if they are white, black, green or any the colors. Justice need to be served.
Given the abundance of drunk foreigners and eager prostitutes in China, I'd imagine that abuse is fairly common, though this kind of violence is extreme. He may be a gentleman at first, but who knows when the beer monster comes out.

Why did they lift the dead on a rope? What was the point? I am too stupid to see it. Maybe she fell at some place which could not be reached by the Police? Then how could they tie the rope around her in the first place?
cc - the report says she landed on a beam (?) about half way down to the ground, between floors. It says they managed to get a rope around her but doesn't explain how. There are various possible ways that might be done.

by someone claiming to know her who says she isn't a prostitute. I haven't read past the first post or followed up on anything, but the main claims are:
1)The woman wasn't a prostitute, but an actress who had had a contract to do commercials in Korea
2)The guys were Korean
3)The woman had picked up a decent amount of Korean, and so the earlier claim about someone hearing "how can three people pay the price for one?!" is suspect.
4)The police concluded that when people are thrown from buildings, they're thrown from the roof, so she obviously jumped or fell.
Some people enjoy posting complex BS, so I don't know how seriously to take this yet, but if #4 is true, it's outrageous.
