BEIJING - Well, here it is. On May 24th, nearly one year ot the day since this blog was founded, we've re-launched with a new look and feel, and hopefully an improved user experience.
As you can see, there are a number of changes between this site and the two previous versions of Zhongnanhai. The first big change is our layout: readers can now see more stories and more headlines at once. We've also added a "World Views" section which will highlight some of the top stories published around the world about China.
A couple of other pointers: not all stories will appear on the home page. Certain business, life or other stories part of our US Presidential Election feature will be posted directly to that category, so make sure to check back often.
Our RSS feeds have also changed, and are much more flexible so you can get only the content you are interested in.
We are still working out some of the bugs, so please bear with us. Launching a sophisticated site such as this requires many, many hours (and some sleepless nights). A huge thanks to our web designer Neil, who richly deserves his coming vacation to Hawaii.
Overall, I'm eager to get your feedback. Please feel free to email me your thoughts at cam@zhongnanhaiblog.com.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
Cam.
