Search Engine is a weekly CBC radio show devoted to the Internet and how it changes our lives. In its most recent episode, host Jesse Brown travels to Hong Kong and Guangzhou to discuss the Internet in China.

I’d strongly recommend giving this show a listen. Rebecca MacKinnon, Oiwan Lam and Wu Wei offer insightful commentary into the Chinese government’s famed Great Firewall and how it affects Internet users in China. It’s also quite interesting to hear Mr. Brown’s perceptions on the Net in China before and during his trip.

You can listen to the podcast here. There is also an iTunes and direct download link at the end of this entry.
