BEIJING - The end has come for this writer in mainland China, and thus a replacement for my current job is needed.  I have worked for nearly the past year as a host with Tianjin Television's Business Traveler program, and it has been an enjoyable time.  The program is broadcast each Thursday night on Tianjin TV 1 - the Binhai Channel.

While the job is based in Tianjin, being a travel show it's fine to be based in Beijing or the surrounding area (with the new train, getting to Tianjin is a cinch).  That being said, travel to the city is required for some episodes, and for all voiceovers.

Prior to my departure, the channel was already looking for a female host.  So there are theoretically two openings for the right candidates (usually they prefer one male, one female).  The job is part-time, and hours are flexible.  The job requires the following:

• Hosting a weekly TV program, minimum 2 episodes per month
• Being in Tianjin for shooting and voiceover responsibilities
• Editing script
• Able to travel
• Good on-air presence
• Excellent English
• Team player
