Having been in China only 2 months, I'm already surprised that I rarely run into blocked web sites. I've read many things critical of China on the web from my home here in China. That being said, I've avoided looking for hot-button subjects like Tiananmen and Tibet. My point is this: it's not as bad as many Americans and other non-Chinese people may think. You do get news here, even about things like the milk scandal.
